Andy Burcham

Andy Burcham manages day-to- day operations of WANI-AM and also hosts the award- winning morning radio show Auburn/Opelika This Morning. He is a 1983 graduate of Indiana State University.

Andy began working in radio at age 18 and has served in both news and sports roles throughout his career. After moving to Alabama from Illinois, his first position in the Auburn area was News & Sports Director for Fuller Broadcasting.

In addition to his duties with Auburn Network, Inc., Andy is a member of the Auburn ISP Sports broadcast team. He serves as lead announcer for women’s basketball, anchors the football pre and post-game lockerroom broadcasts, and is the play-by-play announcer for Auburn’s tape delayed and pay-per-view telecasts.

Burcham is a native of Carbondale, Illinois. He is married to Dr. Jan Gunnels Burcham, 2004 Endowed Chair for Early Childhood Education at Columbus State University.
