Al Mason

Al Mason, a thirty-five year veteran of the radio industry, directs the programming of the company’s FM radio station, Classic Hits Wings 100.3 FM. He also manages operations of Studio 197, the company’s audio production company, and oversees all on-air production for ANI’s radio properties.

Mason entered the radio world at age 14 and honed his skills in a variety of small market stations in southeast Alabama. He has worked with virtually every radio format and has maintained an emphasis on creative copywriting and production.

Since 1994, he has served as narrator of the nationally televised Buckmaster’s Whitetail Magazine. He has written, produced and voiced award winning material including more than thirty ADDY awards and the first two regional ADDY awards ever won by Montgomery radio stations (WLWI).

Mason is a native of Dothan, Alabama. He and his wife, Jamie, are the parents of two sons, Kyle and Vince.
